Murrieta, CA – Motorcyclist Injured after Collision on Los Alamos Road near Briggs Road
Murrieta, CA (August 17, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported that a motorcyclist sustained injuries as the result of a collision with a larger vehicle that occurred on Los Alamos Road, in the vicinity of Briggs Road. The accident took place at approximately 3:30 PM in the afternoon on Thursday, August 16, 2018. At this time, no detailed information concerning the motorcyclist and the motorist involved in the crash has been revealed.
As CHP reports explain, a motorcycle was traveling down Los Alamos Road when, for indeterminate reasons, it was struck by an oncoming Toyota Prius. The force of the impact split the bike in half and shoved the Toyota down a nearby embankment.
Sometime later, medical personnel transported the motorcyclist to a nearby hospital to receive treatment for injuries of an unspecified nature. Meanwhile, officers confirmed the Toyota driver appeared unharmed.
At this time, investigators are looking into why the motorcycle and the Toyota collided. As more evidence continues to surface, more information will be released to public sources.
