San Diego, CA – Woman Injured Following Truck Tire Blow Out
San Diego, CA (August 18, 2018) – A crash in San Diego Friday left a woman injured. The incident arose when a semi truck lost a tire while traveling westbound on Highway 905 near La Media Road. A woman traveling near the truck in a Ford Focus lost control of her vehicle. The woman’s car eventually overturned, leaving her trapped inside.
Paramedics rushed to the scene of the crash. Although the woman suffered injuries, the extent of her injuries is not known. Traffic delays ensured after this crash as traffic backed up for at least an hour.
The California Highway Patrol is in charge of the accident investigation. Police have not said what caused the semi truck to lose its tires, nor have they said whether the truck driver will ultimately he held responsible for the incident.
