Santa Paula, CA – One Trapped in Vehicle Following Rollover Crash on Highway 126 near Hallock Drive

Santa Paula, CA (August 25, 2018) – A motor vehicle accident which was reported to have left one person trapped inside their vehicle took place Friday night on Highway 126, according to a local and reputable news source in Santa Paula. The crash occurred on the highway, approximately a half mile east of Hallock Drive, and was reported to have transpired at around 9:54 p.m.

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office along with the California Highway Patrol stated that two vehicles were involved in the collision that took place in the eastbound lanes of the highway for reasons that are not currently known. One of the vehicles was reported to have rolled over following the impact of the collision.

Paramedics were quickly called to the scene where they found one person was trapped inside one of the vehicles involved in the wreck. Emergency crews worked diligently to free the pinned individual. Four people altogether were evaluated for their injuries at the scene, however, it was not made immediately clear as to whether or not anyone was transported to a hospital.

There was no more information made available regarding the cause of this accident, and neither the names nor conditions of the victims have been stated at this time. Authorities are currently investigating the events that led to this crash.
