Crescent City, CA – One Person Injured After Car Accident at Parkway Drive and Washington Boulevard

Crescent City, CA (August 25, 2018) – According to a report filed by the California Highway Patrol, a motor vehicle accident transpired on Friday afternoon at the intersection of Parkway Drive and East Washington Boulevard. The crash which was reported to have resulted in the injuries of at least one person had taken place at approximately 4:18 p.m.

The California Highway Patrol confirmed that they had received a call about two vehicles that collided at the intersection for reasons that are presently unknown. Paramedics were immediately dispatched to the scene to assist any injured parties. The emergency medical personnel attended to at least one individual who had suffered injuries during the crash.

The report that was released by the CHP dispatch team did not specify as to whether the victim was transported to a local hospital or treated at the scene. A white Chevrolet Avalanche which was at the scene and believed to have been involved in the wreck had sustained a broken tire due to the impact. A pole was also reported to have been knocked down during the accident.
