Fresno, CA – Motorcyclists Injured in Traffic Collision on CA-4 near Ashlan Ave
Fresno, CA (November 4, 2018)– According to the CHP, two motorcyclists were injured in a traffic collision on Hwy CA-4 Saturday afternoon. The collision transpired at approximately 1 pm in the northbound lanes of Hwy CA-4 near the Ashlan Avenue exit. At this time, authorities have not identified the injured victims involved in the accident.
Per the initial report, more than a dozen motorcycle riders were heading up the northbound lanes of the highway approaching Ashlan Avenue when an SUV driving in front of the motorcycles slowed down. One of the riders reportedly hit the brakes, causing him and another motorcyclist to fall into the roadway. Both parties sustained injuries as a result of the wreck and were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Authorities did not specify if any additional parties involved in the accident were injured. The investigators handling the case continue to work to establish the probable cause of the accident.
