Stanton, CA- Deputy Injured in Crash with a Semi-Truck at Beach Blvd and Katella Ave

Stanton, CA (November 5, 2018) – A traffic collision involving an Orange County Sheriffs Deputy and a semi-truck occurred Monday morning in Stanton. According to authorities, the collision transpired shortly after midnight at Beach Boulevard and Katella Avenue.

As per the initial report, the deputy involved had been driving his patrol car in the area of Beach Boulevard and Katella Avenue when he collided with a big rig for unknown reasons. Police officers rushed to the aid of their fellow officer and transported him to a local hospital for treatment of the injuries he sustained as a result of the accident. The extent of the officer’s injuries was not established at the time of the initial log. Authorities did not specify if anyone else involved in this accident was injured.
