San Jose, CA – Injuries Sustained in Interstate 880 Crash near Highway 101
San Jose, California (November 9, 2018) – Injuries were sustained in a multi-vehicle collision that occurred Friday morning on the 880 Freeway in San Jose. The accident happened around 8:55 a.m. on the southbound lanes, just north of Highway 101.
The California Highway Patrol has confirmed four unidentified vehicles were traveling on Interstate 880 when suddenly all four vehicles collided into one another. Emergency personnel responded to the crash shortly after it transpired and rendered aid to the victims that were injured in the accident. The vehicles were damaged in the crash and at least two of them had to be towed away from the scene as evidence. Authorities are investigating the circumstances under which the accident occurred. The extent of the victim’s injuries was not immediately established at the time of the initial log.
The California Highway Patrol has assumed authority over this investigation.
