San Jose, CA – Injuries Reported in Multi-Vehicle Accident on Interstate 680 and Hostetter Road
San Jose, CA – (November 12, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a multi-vehicle collision that resulted in injury Sunday night, in the San Jose area. The accident occurred just before 11:40 pm on November 11th, on Interstate 680, just south of the Hostetter Road off-ramp.
Per the initial report, two vehicles including a dark gray Hyundai Elantra sedan were traveling on Interstate 680 in the northbound lanes when the two vehicles collided as they were approaching the Hostetter Road off-ramp. Emergency crews rushed to the scene of the accident to help those who were injured. Meanwhile, an ambulance was dispatched to the scene and transported an unspecified number of people to a local hospital for treatment of the injuries they sustained upon impact of the collision. The Hyundai sustained significant front-end damage following the accident and was towed away from the crash site as evidence. No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
At this time, authorities are still investigating this accident to establish the probable cause.
