Thousand Oaks, CA – Pedestrian Loses Life in SUV Accident at Moorpark Rd
Thousand Oaks, CA (November 13, 2018) – A Saturday evening accident at Moorpark Road and Mayflower Street has claimed the life of 48-year-old Marciano Morales.
According to the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that Morales was headed west across Moorpark Road when he was struck down by an SUV driving south down the same street at 5:53 PM. Morales suffered catastrophic injuries immediately upon impact with the SUV. He was transported to a nearby hospital but pronounced dead a short while later. The driver of the SUV was completely unharmed and, according to reports, did stop at the scene of the accident and appeared to cooperate with police.
There is no more information on the cause of the accident at this time as police are keeping the incident open for further investigation.
