Japantown, CA – Teresa Jacob Identified as Pedestrian Killed at Taylor and 6th Streets
Japantown, CA – (November 17, 2018) – The Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office has identified Teresa Jacob as the 81-year-old woman who was killed in a pedestrian accident on November 6th. The deadly accident took place around 4:00 pm at Taylor Street and 6th Street.
According to the San Jose police, Jacob and another 81-year-old woman were crossing Taylor Street in a crosswalk when they were hit by a white 2018 Subaru heading eastbound on Taylor Street. Responding paramedics attempted to stabilize the two women before transporting them to a local hospital, where sadly Jacob died of her injuries a few hours later. The other woman’s injuries were described as non-life threatening. Officials confirmed, the driver of the Subaru remained at the scene and cooperated with officers. There are still issues surrounding this accident that remain unresolved.
