Wasco, CA – Billy Cole Killed in Car Accident at Poso Drive and Western Avenue

Wasco, CA – (November 26, 2018) – Billy Ray Cole has been identified as the 83-year-old man that was killed in a car accident on Wednesday in Wasco. According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred in the area of Poso Drive and Western Avenue.

Officials have confirmed that Mr. Cole had been driving a truck in the area when he was suddenly struck by another pickup truck that had failed to yield at a stop sign. Emergency crews rushed to the crash site and discovered Cole was suffering from severe injuries. Paramedics attempted to stabilize the victim, but sadly he succumbed to his injuries and died at the crash site. Authorities are still trying to determine what events led up to the accident.
