Mission Hills, CA – One Person Hospitalized after Crash on 5 Freeway near Highway 118
Mission Hills, CA – (November 29, 2018) – At least one person was hospitalized following a truck collision on a freeway in Mission Hills. The accident happened Wednesday at approximately 9:58 am on Interstate 5 near Highway 118.
Per the incident report, a large truck and a small sedan were traveling northbound on Interstate 5 when for unknown reasons they violently collided. Police and firefighters rushed to the scene where they rendered aid to the injured victims at the crash site and transported at least one person to a local hospital for treatment. Authorities issued a SigAlert due to heavy equipment that was needed to disentangle the vehicles blocking the roadway. Officers will analyze the evidence collected at the crash site in an effort to determine which party was responsible for the accident.
