Scooter Accidents in California
On average, 680,000 hit-and-accidents occur every year in California. Drivers who are involved in illegal activity usually flee vehicle scenes. Sometimes drivers with no criminal history are just afraid to suffer the consequences of hitting someone so they proceed to drive off without assisting the injured victim. If the driver is aware of their negligent driving, and they are afraid of getting caught, they’re liable to flee the scene. Once the police arrest the drivers responsible, they end up suffering more consequences and being charged with hit-and-run felonies. Once the police find the driver responsible for striking the rider, a personal injury lawsuit can be filed with the help of an attorney.
