San Diego, CA – Critical Pedestrian Accident on Hopkins Drive
San Diego, CA (December 12, 2018) On the morning of December 11th, a critical pedestrian accident happened on Hopkins Drive. Authorities reported that an employee at University of California, San Diego, was driving a small electric golf-cart on campus when she fell out of it and onto the road for reasons unknown. The vehicle behind her didn’t brake fast enough and ran her over. Emergency crews arrived at the scene at 11:30 a.m. to help the injured woman. Firefighters had to stabilize the vehicle before trying several different tactics to free the woman. They then rushed her to Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla due to her critical injuries. Investigators are figuring out who to hold liable for the accident.
