Pedestrian Accidents in California
It’s unfortunate that thousands of pedestrians lose their lives in California every year. To make matters more devastating, the leading cause is usually negligent driving. When drivers choose to text, eat, apply makeup, converse with passengers, drive impaired or fatigued, they’re putting pedestrians at risk of being seriously injured or killed. To prevent this from happening, California has a law that requires drivers to yield when they see pedestrians, even if pedestrians do not have the right of way.
The police are currently investigating this accident to determine if Khier will be held fully liable for the death of Nazareth. Once they conclude their findings, Nazareth’s family could file a wrongful death lawsuit.
