San Diego, CA – Woman Hospitalized from Critical Pedestrian Accident
San Diego, CA (December 17, 2018) On the 15th of December, a critical pedestrian accident happened at the intersection of Cedar Street and First Avenue. According to the reports, a white truck struck an 85-year-old woman at about 2:39 p.m. as she attempted to cross the intersection. When the paramedics arrived, they found her critically injured with a skull fracture and a brain bleed. They transported her to a nearby hospital for treatment. Witnesses revealed to authorities that the woman failed to see the red traffic signal for pedestrians as she stepped into the roadway. The police are currently investigating this accident.
