Vehicle Accidents in California
Close to 6,000 people lose their lives in vehicle accidents every year in California, and the number continues to increase. Studies have proven that the leading cause of all vehicle accidents in California is distracted driving, which includes any activity that takes a driver’s attention off the road. Most distractions appear harmless, such as conversing with passengers, using a cell phone, eating, or searching for a lost item. However, the most minute distraction can cause the most devastating damages.
The police are currently investigating this accident to determine who will be held liable, which can be complex in most cases. Once they conclude their report, it’s likely that a wrongful death lawsuit will get filed along with multiple personal injury lawsuits.
