Vehicle Accidents in California
Recent studies show that the leading cause of deaths for police officers were traffic-related accidents for the past 15 out of 20 years. Police officers’ lives are at risk every day as they work to protect the public from harm. However, when police officers receive a call and start speeding to their destination, they’re putting themselves and others at risk of being seriously injured or killed.
Investigators are currently working to determine who was at fault for this accident and why. They’re checking to see which car had the right-of-way and if speeding was involved. Once they finalize their reports, the police officers may be able to file personal injury lawsuits.
