Long Beach, CA – Elderly Man Dies in Fatal Pedestrian Crash

Long Beach, CA (December 23, 2018) On the evening of December 20th, a fatal pedestrian crash happened on Atlantic Avenue. According to the reports, a 2005 Ford Escape struck an 80-something-year-old man while he was crossing the street in his wheelchair. When paramedics arrived at the scene to help, the man had already succumbed to his injuries. The 21-year-old driver responsible remained at the scene and cooperated with the police. The Long Beach Police are currently investigating the accident.
