Bicycle Accidents in California
Studies show that over 1,000 bicycle accidents occur every year in California. Unfortunately, drivers usually hit bicyclists when they fail to check their blind spots, when they make turns directly in front of them, sideswipe them, open doors in front of them, or when they drive under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Once the police find and arrest the driver responsible for this accident, the bicyclist could file a personal injury lawsuit with the help of a California personal injury attorney.
