Contra Costa, CA – Motorcycle Crash on Interstate 80

Contra Costa, CA (January 9, 2019) On the afternoon of January 8^th, a motorcycle crash happened on the Interstate 80 Freeway. According to the California Highway Patrol, a motorcyclist and another vehicle crashed into each other for unknown reasons near the Pinole Valley Road off-ramp. When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they found the motorcyclist suffering from minor injuries. The driver attempted to leave the scene, but reporters haven’t indicated whether this accident was a hit-and-run or not. The accident is currently under investigation.
