Anaheim, CA – 1 Injured in Semi-Truck Crash Along 91 Freeway

Anaheim, CA (January 17, 2019) On the morning of January 16^th, a semi-truck crash happened along the 91 Freeway at approximately 10:36 a.m. According to the reports, a big rig was traveling east on the freeway when it crossed two lanes and crashed into a 2005 Ford. Both vehicles slammed into the center divider, but the big rig busted through the center divider and went drove into oncoming traffic.

Debris and concrete from the collision flew into the westbound lanes and struck a 2013 Toyota and 2005 Ford. 80 gallons of diesel spilled onto the roadway, making driving conditions even more hazardous.

When emergency crews arrived at the scene to help, they found the driver of the 2005 Ford injured and transported him to Placentia-Linda Hospital for further evaluation and treatment.

Crews had to shut down a left eastbound lane and two toll lanes as well as all of the westbound toll lanes.

Authorities are currently investigating this accident.
