San Bernardino, CA – One Person Killed in Bicycle Accident on Sterling Avenue

San Bernardino, CA (January 22, 2019) – Last night around 8:33 p.m., 53-year-old Dereck Alexander of San Bernardino died in a bicycle accident that took place on Sterling Avenue.

The collision was reported late at night and deputies immediately came to the scene of the accident. However, paramedics were unable to save him and he tragically died at the scene of the accident.

At this time, police are taking a closer look at what happened to cause the collision between the driver and the bicyclist. The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene of the accident to cooperate with police.
