Fresno, CA – Pedestrian Struck and Killed in Serious Train Accident at Intersection of Maroa Ave and Princeton Ave

Fresno, CA (January 24, 2019) – This morning in the very early hours, a pedestrian was struck in a train accident, according to the Fresno Police Department who investigated the accident.

The pedestrian was killed at the scene of the accident due to severe injuries. The crash allegedly took place around 2 a.m. near the intersection of Maroa  Ave. and Princeton Ave.

A pedestrian was walking on the tracks at the time of the accident for reasons that are not yet known. The victim’s name has not yet been released by police.

At this time, the circumstances of the accident are not yet known and police continue their investigation into the accident.
