Napa, CA – Pedestrian Receives Critical Injuries in Soscol Avenue Accident

Napa, CA (January 26, 2019) – Police reported that a pedestrian received critical injuries in a Soscol Avenue accident that took place on Tuesday. The woman has since been identified as 62-year-old Mary Jackson of Napa.

At the time, Jackson had been parking her bus on Soscal Avenue and started walking across the road. This is when a vehicle came through and struck her. Jackson was about to go back to the bus yard before she was struck.

Paramedics responded to the scene around 6:40 p.m. and Jackson was rushed to the hospital with a variety of critical injuries. The driver who struck her did not stop to render aid and fled the scene.

Police are looking for the responsible driver, who was allegedly in a dark newer-model Honda with front-end damage. At this time, the investigation into the matter continues.
