Los Angeles, CA – Two Killed and Others Injured in Fatal Accident on Parthenia Street

Los Angeles, CA (January 27, 2019) – In Los Angeles, two people were killed and several others were seriously injured in a fatal accident on Parthenia Street yesterday in the afternoon.

Police were called to the scene of the accident around 2:08 p.m. in the 17500 block near Encino Avenue. Police believe that a sports coupe had been speeding at the time when it suddenly spun out and struck a sedan on the roadway.

Officials were called to help with those who were injured and had to extricate one of the drivers who was pinned inside their vehicle.

Four occupants of the sedan were injured and two people were pronounced dead at the scene. Both of those who died were estimated to be in their 50s.

The names of those who were injured and those who were pronounced deceased have not been released at this time. The investigation into the accident continues.
