San Clemente, CA – Karely Sotello Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Accident

San Clemente, CA (January 29, 2019) – 31-year-old Karely Sotello was killed in a fatal pedestrian accident that took place along Avenida Del Presidente on Friday evening.

The accident took place around 7 p.m., according to police. The Orange County Sheriff’s Department investigated and found that Sotello had been struck by an SUV that had been traveling north at the time.

Unfortunately, when paramedics arrived at the scene, they said that Sotello had tragically passed away. Deputies confirmed that the driver of the other vehicle was a woman in her 50s who stayed at the scene of the accident to cooperate with deputies.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation by police.
