Orinda, CA – Unidentified Individual Injured in Motorcycle Crash on Highway 24

Orinda, CA (January 31, 2019) – Police say that an unidentified individual was injured in a motorcycle crash on Highway 24 on Wednesday morning, according to police. The accident took place around 8:53 a.m.

At the time, a 2016 red and white Honda motorcycle and a Volvo collided with one another for reasons that were not known in the westbound lanes of Highway 24.

Fire department officials and paramedics responded to the scene and found the male rider sitting in the center divider of the highway. The motorcyclist received major injuries and was instantly transported to the hospital.

It was not specified whether or not the driver of the other vehicle stayed at the scene following the crash. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident at this time.
