Bloomington, CA – One Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 10 Freeway

Bloomington, CA (February 1, 2019) – On Thursday, January 31 in Bloomington, an unidentified person was killed in a pedestrian accident on the Interstate 10 Freeway.

Police responded to the accident around 5 a.m. to find that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle on the part of the freeway near the area of Cedar Avenue. The man who had been crossing the street at the time was identified as an 18-year-old whose name has not been released but who lived in San Bernardino. He was tragically pronounced deceased at the scene.

At this time, police say that his name will be released pending notification of next-of-kin. No information was released on the driver who struck him.

Police continue their investigation into the matter at this time.
