San Jose, CA – Hit-and-Run Accident on Highway 87 Leads to Injuries

San Jose, CA (February 2, 2019) – On Thursday, January 31, injuries were reported in a hit-and-run accident that took place on Highway 87 at the off-ramp of Curtner Avenue.

The California Highway Patrol arrived at the scene of the accident around 8:18 a.m. to find that a traffic accident had happened between a motor vehicle and a motorcycle. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene, leaving the motorcyclist at the scene.

Police say that the accident resulted in injuries but the names of the victims involved have not been disclosed. Police also said that the driver of the other vehicle did not remain at the scene or seek help for those who were injured. As such, police continue to investigate as a hit-and-run and are looking for the responsible driver.
