Baldwin Park, CA – One Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on 605 Freeway

Baldwin Park, CA (February 7, 2019) – Police reported that one person was killed in a multi-vehicle crash that took place on Monday on the 605 Freeway around 5:13 a.m.

The accident happened in the northbound lanes just south of the 10 Freeway. The California Highway Patrol responded to the accident and found that three vehicles were involved, identified as a white Toyota, black Dodge, and silver Hyundai.

One of the vehicles went over the barrier on the roadway and crashed head-on into another car in the southbound lanes before it rolled over the side. The third vehicle was on the northbound side of the roadway when it was struck.

One of the parties was taken to the hospital and tragically pronounced deceased while there. The identity of the victim has not been released until the next-of-kin is notified.

Multiple others were injured but they are expected to recover. There were traffic backups in the area for quite some time.
