El Cajon, CA – Two People Injured in Car Crash on 8 Freeway in El Cajon

El Cajon, CA (February 10, 2019) – Police reported that two people were injured in a car crash that took place on the 8 Freeway near the area of Johnson Avenue yesterday morning.

Police responded to the collision around 11:00 a.m. along the Interstate 8 Freeway. The California Highway Patrol found that the accident involved five vehicles and took place in the westbound lanes.

A white sports car received the most damages after it slammed into the center divider, causing it to completely roll over and collide with another vehicle. This led to a pileup accident.

Two people were injured in the accident and treated at the hospital. At this time, police believe that they will make a recovery.

The investigation into the accident continues at this time.
