Santa Ana, CA – One Dead and One Injured in Fatal Wrong-Way Accident on Warner Avenue

Santa Ana, CA (February 11, 2019) On Sunday, February 10^th, a fatal wrong-way accident happened on Warner Avenue at about 5:30 a.m. According to the reports, a white Toyota van crashed into a gold Toyota Tundra pickup near Oak Street and then proceeded to head westbound.

The impact of the collision left both vehicles with major front-end damage. Both drivers had to be extricated from their vehicles and transported to Orange County Global Medical Center. Sadly, the female driver of the van had to be rushed to surgery once she arrived at the trauma center and ended up succumbing to her injuries. The other 62-year-old driver suffered from major injuries.

The police are currently investigating what caused this tragic accident.
