Yuba County, CA – Timothy Fesmire Sr. Killed in Fatal Train Accident
Yuba County, CA (February 13, 2019) – Police identified 51-year-old Timothy Fesmire Sr. as the man who was killed in a fatal train accident that took place near Highway 70 and East 24th Street.
The crash happened on February 10 around 11:30 a.m. on the Union Pacific train tracks west of Highway 70 and East 24th Street. Fesmire, a transient, was struck by a train that was headed south at the time and tragically passed away at the scene of the accident. At this time, nobody is sure why he was on the tracks at the time of the incident.
The Union Pacific and Marysville Police Department are conducting an investigation into the accident and trying to determine who is liable based on the circumstances.
