Chollas Creek, CA – Man Killed in Fatal Bicycle Accident on Fairmount Avenue

Chollas Creek, CA (February 13, 2019) – In Chollas Creek, a man was killed in a fatal bicycle accident that took place on Fairmount Avenue near the area of 47^th Street last night, February 12, around 7:00 p.m.

At the time, the victim, a 66-year-old man, was riding his bicycle against traffic on Fairmount Avenue when he was suddenly struck by a vehicle. The victim died at the scene of the accident but his name has not yet been released.

Police identified the vehicle involved as a Toyota Camry. The driver of the Toyota was reported to be a 61-year-old woman, who stayed at the scene of the crash after it occurred. Police are still working on determining the cause of the accident.
