Head-On Collisions in California
Because head-on collisions are considered to be the most dangerous types of accidents, it’s common for people to lose their lives or suffer critical injuries. When two vehicles crash head-on, the damage is twice as intense because the forces of both cars are moving toward one another. For example, if two vehicles collide head-on at 30 miles per hour, it’s as powerful as one moving vehicle colliding with a still object at 60 miles per hour. The leading cause of these dangerous accidents is usually drunk driving, which is why the police are currently investigating to see if alcohol was a contributing factor in this collision.
