San Bernardino, CA – Gabriel Simmons Killed in Fatal Crash on Interstate 215

San Bernardino, CA (February 17, 2019) – Police arrived at the scene of an accident where an 18-year-old named Gabriel Simmons was killed in a fatal crash on Interstate 215.

At the time, Simmons had been a passenger in the back of a 2018 Volkswagen Passat traveling south on the highway. Around 2:55 p.m., the driver slammed into a concrete barrier near Orange Show Road.

The San Bernardino Coroner was called to the scene of the crash and Simmons was tragically pronounced deceased due to severe trauma. The driver of the vehicle had a variety of injuries and was hospitalized, but nobody else was injured.

At this time, the California Highway Patrol continues their investigation.
