Pedestrian Injured by Car at 112th Street and Vermont Avenue
(June 11, 2018) Late Monday night, June 11, on a car that struck and injured a pedestrian in the Vermont Vista Neighborhood of Los Angeles. The accident that took place on South Vermont Avenue and West 112th Street was reported around 10:15 p.m. According to Los Angeles Police, the pedestrian was apparently struck by two vehicles at the intersection for reasons that are not yet known.
Paramedics were quick to arrive on the scene and transport the victim to a local hospital. The severity of the victims’ injuries is unknown at this time. His name has not been released. Furthermore, it has been confirmed that while two drivers were involved in the crash, only one stayed to assist police at the scene. The other driver fled the area, although it is uncertain as to whether or not the other driver knew that a person was hit. Authorities are continuing to investigate all factors of the crash. Regardless of the drivers involved, we sincerely hope for the victim to have a healthy recovery from any and all injuries.
