San Leandro, CA – Woman Killed in Fatal Vehicle Crash on Interstate 880

San Leandro, CA (February 19, 2019) On the morning of February 19^th, a fatal vehicle crash happened on Interstate 880 at approximately 10:55 a.m. According to the reports, a dark green Honda Accord hit a big-rig truck just north of Floresta Boulevard.

The Honda was speeding and switching lanes right before the crash happened. As a result, a woman in the passenger seat was ejected from the Honda and landed onto the roadway. The Honda may have also crashed into a beige Ford Escape.

When the paramedics arrived, they found the female passenger deceased at the scene. They transported the male driver to a nearby hospital for treatment of his complaints of pain.

The police are currently investigating this accident to determine causation and liability.
