La Mirada, CA – Two Injured in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Escalona Road

La Mirada, CA (February 20, 2019) On the 20^th of February, a hit-and-run pedestrian accident happened in the 15000 Block of Escalona Road, near Escalona Elementary School. According to the reports, a vehicle struck an adult and a child around 1:20 p.m. and proceeded to drive off without stopping.

When the paramedics arrived, they tended to the injured pedestrians, while the police inspected the scene.

The police are currently investigating this accident and searching for the driver responsible.
