Pomona, CA – Zachary Munoz Killed in Truck Accident on 10 Freeway

Pomona, CA (February 20, 2019) – Police reported that 21-year-old Zachary Munoz was identified as the man who lost his life in a fatal truck accident on the 10 Freeway Tuesday morning.

The accident, according to police, took place around 12:22 a.m., near North Orange Grove Avenue, and involved a big rig truck and a 1990 Lexus.

Zachary Munoz was allegedly the passenger inside the Lexus, which was being driven by 26-year-old Nathan Anaya. Anaya crashed into the truck, which killed Munoz at the scene of the crash.

Anaya suffered a variety of injuries as well and was taken to the hospital. While there, it was determined that he had been driving drunk and he was arrested on DUI charges.
