Truck Accident in Coachella Injures at Least 1

(June 12, 2018) According to a reliable news source, an SUV and a large truck, unfortunately, collided Tuesday morning in Coachella. The crash occurred on the Interstate 10 Freeway shortly after 6:00 a.m. just east of Dillon Road where the tractor-trailer rolled over due to the impact of the collision.

Officials have stated that a silver Ford Edge and the tractor-trailer crashed into each other on the westbound side of the Interstate. Paramedics were quick to arrive on the scene around 6:28 a.m. to assist the victims who were involved in the accident. Apparently, the driver of the Ford was merely evaluated at the scene and seemed to be relatively unharmed. However, the driver of the tractor-trailer was reported to be suffering from at least minor injuries. He was most likely taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Currently, the names of the parties involved in this collision are still unknown. Police are working diligently on an investigation to determine exactly how the crash happened and who was at fault. Investigators will be looking to determine if there was any negligent behavior by either driver.
