Oakland, CA – Darryl Jefferson Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Accident on 24th Street
Oakland, CA (February 26, 2019) – On the night of February 22nd, a fatal pedestrian accident happened at the intersection of 24th Street and Broadway. According to the reports, a vehicle struck a 56-year-old man named Darryl Jefferson as he was crossing the street. Unfortunately, the driver proceeded to drive off without checking to see if Jefferson was alright.
When the paramedics arrived to help, they found Jefferson seriously injured and rushed him to Highland Hospital. Unfortunately, he did not survive his injuries.
The police are currently searching for the driver responsible for this unfortunate incident.
