Martinez, CA – Amber Peters Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Crash on Highway 4

Martinez, CA (February 28, 2019) – Last Thursday evening, February 21, a fatal pedestrian crash took place on Highway 4 near Pacheco Boulevard that took the life of 44-year-old Amber Peters, according to responding police.

Peters had been walking across the street at the time when a vehicle struck her. The impact of the collision was so forceful that Peters was pronounced dead at the scene due to her injuries.

At this time, police are not sure why Peters was struck in the pedestrian accident. The driver stayed at the scene to cooperate with police.

The investigation into the accident continues.
