Alhambra, CA- Bus Crash Kills 1 on the Interstate 10 Freeway

Alhambra, CA (May 1, 2019)- A collision between a Metro Silver Line city bus and a car left one person dead on Tuesday on the Interstate 10 Freeway at around 8:10 pm.

Reports stated that the bus was stopped in the westbound lanes of the freeway near Fremont Avenue due to an electrical issue. While the bus was stopped, a car collided with it at the rear.

A person in the car died at the scene from traumatic injuries experienced from the force of the crash. The bus driver and four passengers were uninjured in the accident.

A SigAlert was made and two left lanes, as well as the express lane, were shut down to clear the damaged vehicles and begin an investigation into the crash.
