American Canyon, CA – Woman Injured in DUI Crash in Area of Highway 29

American Canyon, CA (February 1, 2019) – Police reported that a driver was hospitalized following a DUI crash that took place in the area of Highway 29 and Eucalyptus Drive on Wednesday night around 8:30 p.m.

Police responded to the scene of the accident to find that two vehicles had collided with one another. A woman from American Canyon had been driving a hatchback south on Highway 29 when she stopped at a red light and was suddenly rear-ended by a red pickup truck.

The woman in the vehicle stopped at the light was taken to the hospital with a variety of injuries but is expected to recover. The driver of the truck was identified as 61-year-old Edwin Nei Woo, who was also hospitalized following the accident. 

Later, police discovered that the San Francisco man was arrested for a felony DUI charge. Police continue their investigation into the incident at this time.
