Anaheim, CA – 15 Injured in DUI Bus Accident on Katella Avenue and Douglass Road

Anaheim, CA (January 24, 2019) On the afternoon of January 24th, a DUI bus accident happened at the intersection of East Katella Avenue and South Douglass Road at around 3:00 p.m. According to the reports, a Chevy Silverado exited the 57 Freeway off-ramp when it hit an Orange County Transit Authority bus. The pickup truck sustained front end damage while the bus sustained rear damage on its passenger-side wheel.

When emergency crews arrived, they found 15 people suffering from minor to moderate injuries and transported all of them to a nearby hospital.

The police suspect the 29-year-old driver of the Chevy to have been under the influence of drugs at the time of the crash. They later arrested her on suspicion of felony DUI.
