Anaheim, CA- Fatal Accident on the 91 Fwy and the 57 Fwy

Anaheim, CA (June 14, 2019)- A crash on the 91 Freeway near the 57 Freeway left one man dead and three injured at approximately 1:50 am Friday.

The California Highway Patrol reported that the collision happened in the westbound lanes when a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro turned unsafely and hit a guardrail. The impact of the crash caused the 21-year-old driver to be thrown from the vehicle. The Anaheim Fire Department found him dead at the crash site.

Officials believe that additional vehicles were involved in the crash, but did not stop at the scene. They are also investigating whether a vehicle hit the driver after he was ejected from his car onto the roadway.

Three passengers in the Camaro sustained moderate injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The CHP is asking anyone with information about the crash to call 714-567-6000.
