Anaheim, CA – Four Injured in Multi-Car Accident on 91 Freeway

Anaheim, CA (January 21, 2019) – Early yesterday morning, January 20, four people were hospitalized after a driver had been traveling in the wrong direction on the 91 Freeway.

The accident took place between five vehicles around 3 a.m. near the Gypsum Canyon. The California Highway Patrol said that the incident took place when a driver was attempting to travel east in the westbound lanes of the freeway.

Two vehicles collided initially, and then two others became involved due to the fact that it happened on the freeway. Fire department and paramedics officials responded to the accident to find that four people were hurt and needed to be hospitalized for their injuries. One victim was so badly injured that they have been listed in critical condition.

The names of the parties involved have not yet been released. One person was arrested for their role in the accident, however. The investigation into the matter continues at this time.
