Anaheim, CA – Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident at Haster Street
Anaheim, CA – (November 25, 2018) – A pedestrian was critically injured after a hit-and-run accident that occurred in the area of Haster Street and Leatrice Lane Saturday night. The collision was reported at 8:49 pm on November 24th.
Per the initial report, an 18-year old woman was attempting to cross the street at an intersection located between Haster Street and Leatrice Lane when she was struck by an oncoming vehicle. Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded immediately to the accident and found the young woman lying in the roadway suffering from major injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital where she remains in critical condition. Her name has not been released by authorities. Officials confirmed, the driver involved did not stop to render aid and fled the scene. The suspect’s vehicle has been described as a 1998 or 1999 red Isuzu Amigo which sustained right front headlight damage upon impact. Authorities are still looking for the driver and the vehicle involved.
